PEGGY-white star hybrid
Peggy was very friendly and always first to greet me, she never managed to be top hen it always switched between the other 2.
PAT-white star
Was top hen most of the time but switched between her and Dot, she was the only survivor when the fox got into the coop and lived on her own for about a year but when my family and i moved to Portugal she went to a big farm with lots of other chickens and also met the cockerel!
DOT-red comet
The friendliest and my favourite, also jumped on my lap and wanted a cuddle and followed me everywhere,
Now in Portugal i have..
RYAN-cream legbar
My very handsome boy, he is good with his girls but chases the chicks around if they come to close and chases after my other cockerel if he steals one of his hens.
ROXY-japanese bantam

SAL & GLENDA-ex battery
Both ex-battery hens who looked a state when they first come here, Glenda couldn't walk and had no feathers but now she is much better and happy with her life and Sal looked a little better but unfortunately she passed away(unknown reason) after a month living with the flock, she was a lovely hen and it was really sad when we lost her. RIP
Sal, RIP.
Poor Glenda, looking alot better now though!
BLACK & GINGER
I got them at about 3-4weeks old and it has been great to see them grow up. They are both really friendly.
Ginger & Black, 1month old.
BLACK, as baby.
Then BLACK as grown up.
GINGER, grown up:
RODNEY & ANGEL & ANGEL II
Got them both at a week old as little bundles of yellow fluff Rodney's a naked neck, both always falling asleep on my lap. Unfortunately Angel died 2 days after Sal from unknown reason, was very sad to loose her :'( I got Rodney another little friend though so he wasn't lonely, the first day we brought Angel II home she got stuck under the ramp and I found Roxy pecking at her bum and blood everywhere so Angel II stayed in the house for a few days to recover then went back out with Rodney and they are now best friends.
